2016 - 2020

St. Mary's College of Maryland | Bachelor's Degree

Double Bachelor of Arts - English & TFMS (Theatre, Film, and Media Studies)
- I got to pursue my passion for theatre and discovered a new love for set design and creating stage/screen adaptations of classical literature.
I wrote a script for an abbreviated stage adaptation of Inferno by Dante Alighieri for my senior thesis; unfortunately, the staged reading/table-read was never performed due to COVID-19 complications. While it was not a part of the assignment, I did sketch out a design for the set, if I ever decided to continue working on it.

- I was in our school’s improv group (Take One! Improv) and was elected Treasurer for my sophomore year (2017-2018), then led the group as the Vice President for my junior and senior years (2018-2020).

- I took several courses on Stagecraft and Design for the stage and screen.

- During my time at SMCM, I worked in the scene shop, costume shop, and as a sound/light crew member as additional course credit in Theatre Studies. Not to mention, I just really enjoyed working in those spaces!

2012-2016

St. Timothy's School | High School Degree

Where my initial love of storytelling, performance art, and design was discovered! As a part of the International Baccalaureate Programme, St. Timothy's provided me with many avenues of learning about performance art and traditions from numerous cultures and time periods spanning from Commedia Dell'Arte, Kabuki, Kathakali, Theatre of the Oppressed, Theatre of the Absurd, Pantomime, and Opera!
